Food!! AH, I love to eat.
In this section you will find both Ecuadorian Food and Hangover Food.

Ecuadorian Food is delicious. In Ecuadorian Food Introduction you'll find a brief introduction to ecuadorian cousine, It's important if you are from another country that you read this because you will find some tips and general description of some ingredients or basic knowledge you'll need to prepare/understand the dishes you'll read in the Description/Recipes Section. Remember Ecuador is a Tropical country with a large zone of mountains (Andes), so many of the ingredients are endemic to our land.
In the Description/Recipes section you'll find a brief description of some of my favorite dishes of ecuadorian cousine. If a dish has a link you can go to it to see a photo and the recipe for that dish.
Ecuadorian Food may be divided in 2 groups: Food from the Coast and food from the mountains.
Food from the coast usually has green banana, rice and/or seafood. Food from the mountains are more based on potatoes, grains and corn. There are some other dishes that are difficult to know if they are from the Coast or the mountains, so I don't make a distinction between this 2 zones.
In the future I'll be adding ecuadorian desserts, but I'm still working on that.
You may also want to see the Ecuadorian Cocktails recipes in the Ecuadorian Drinks Section
In Places to eat in Guayaquil, You'll find where to eat this delicious food if you are in Guayaquil. This is Barcillo's Ecuadorian version of the Michelin Guide, My Favorite places to eat in Guayaquil, most of the places described here are not fancy, and some are even dangerous (don't take jewels or too much cash when you go there), but don't worry I give you my personal assurance that they have the best food in Guayaquil at an affordable price. And I don't think you will get sick for eating there.

Hangover and Drunk Food is a section I originally wrote for my Booze Zone page. Here I list some food I like to eat when I have a Hangover and that have proven to be a great help. I also list some food I like to eat when I finish drinking so I can go to sleep in peace and the hangover won't be as bad. Most of this food is Ecuadorian food, but some are from other parts. If you want more suggestions on what to do when you have a hangover, you can visit my hangover page in the  Booze Zone .

Bon Apetit!
