Banana Nut Bread



Banana Nut Bread





Instructions:
Cream together shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well. Sift together dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternating with banana, blending well after each addition. Stir in nuts. Pour into well-greased 9- x 5- x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350F for 45 - 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Remove from pan and cool on rack. Wrap and store over night.

Hint: If at all possible, get real black walnuts.
