Sugar Cookies 2
- 2 cups butter, not margarine
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 5 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla,
mix well. Stir in dry ingredients. Chill about 1 hour. Roll out on
sugared surface, to about 1/4" thick. Cut out and place on ungreased
cookie sheet. Can be placed closed together, as they don't spread too
much. Decorate with colored sprinkles. Bake in preheated 350* oven
for 10 minutes, or until light brown.
About 75 cookies.
