Chili
- 2 pounds sirloin, cubed
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- oil
- 1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 5 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 14 oz. can beef broth
- 1 tablespoon each: salt, pepper, vinegar
- 2 tablespoon each: hot pepper sauce, cayenne pepper
Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine beef, onions and garlic. In a Dutch oven, brown the beef mixture in the oil. Combine with the remaining ingredients. Stir until well blended. Simmer, covered, 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Makes about 8 cups. Serve with beans on the side and plenty of cold beer.
