Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients :
  • 1 cup of All Purpose flour
  • 4 tsp of Seasoned Salt
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Poultry Seasoning
  • 1 tsp of Ground Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp of Pepper
  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken breast, halved
  • 1/4 cup vegetable or olive oil
  • Directions :
    In a resealable plastic bag, combine the first 6 ingredients. Pound chicken to 1/2 inches thickness and cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces. Place chicken pieces, a few at a time into a bag and shake to coat. Heat oil in a skillet' cook chicken turning frequently, until brown and juices run clear.


    Crispy Oriental Chicken Wings

    Ingredients :
  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cups finely crushed corn flakes
  • Directions :
    Mix together egg, soy sauce, garlic powder and ginger powder. Set aside. On wax paper, mix together crushed corn flakes and diced onion. Dip each wing in soy sauce mixture, then roll in corn flakes and onion. In glass baking dish, cover and cook wings on high (9) for 20 minutes, or until cooked. Remove covering halfway through cooking. Use 13"x9" baking dish. .


    Deep Fried Onion Rings

    Ingredients :
  • 6 medium mild white onions
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 cup plus 2 tsp of all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • cooking oil for deep fat frying
  • Directions :
    peel and cut onions into 1/4 inch thick slices. separate into rings and set aside. in a medium bowl, combine beaten egg, milk, and 3 tbsp oil. blend in flour and salt, just till moistened. fill deep fat fryer or 2 to 3 qt. sauce pan one third to half full with cooking oil. heat oil to 375 degrees. using a fork, dip onions rings one at a time in batter in cover. let excess batter drip back into bowl. working quickly place each ring in hot oil. fry rings a few at a time, about 2 to 3 min. or until golden brown, stirring once with a fork to separate onion rings. remove from oil with fork or slotted spoon; drain on paper bowling. repeat with remaining batter and onions. keep cooked onion rings warm on a paper towel lined baking sheet in a 250 degree oven. sprinkle with salt just before serving.


    Festive Sausage Cups

    Ingredients :
  • 48 slices of white bread
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 6 green onions with tops
  • 1/2 cup canned mushrooms with stems and pieces
  • Directions :
    lightly butter small muffin tins. with 2 1/2 to 3 inch biscuit cutter slice bread into circles and roll out each to flatten. press circles firmly into buttered tin to form 48 cups. bake until lightly brown, about 6 minutes. remove from tins and cool. place on baking sheet for filling brown sausage in large skillet over medium heat, breaking up with a fork. pour off drippings and drain on paper towels. in same skillet melt 2 tbsp butter and cook green onions until soft, about 3 min. add mushrooms, salt and pepper. sprinkle with flour, stirring constantly. pour in cream and bring to a boil. add sauage. reduce heat and simmer until mixture thickens, stirring occasionally, about 10 min. pre heat oven to 350 degrees. fill cup with sausage mixture, discard any excess oil. sprinkle with parmesan cheese. bake 10 min. to melt cheese


    HAM CROISSANTS

    Ingredients :
  • 1 (8 oz) can of croissants
  • 1 package of ham
  • 1 package of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bottom of mustard
  • Directions :
    Unroll the croissant roll into 4 rectangles, put a slice of ham on each rectangle. Spread mustard over the ham and sprinkle with cheese. Starting with the shortest side, roll into a log. You will have 4 logs. Then take the knife and cu the logst into 4 to 5 slices. On an un greased cookie sheet. Place the slices, cut side down. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cook the croissants 15 to 20 min. or until done.


    Little Tacos

    Ingredients :
  • 1 pkg (16 oz.) Oscar Mayer Little Smokies
  • 1 jar (8 oz.) Cheese Whiz
  • 1/2 cup tace sauce
  • Directions :
    heat smokies as directed on package. meanwhile, mix cheese sauce and taco sauce in small saucepan. cook on medium-low heat 10 min or until cheese sauce melts, stirring frequently. to serve place smokies and sauce in fondue pot or slow cooker. garnish with chopped fresh cilantro or parsley. keep warm on low heat.


    Nuts And Bolts

    Ingredients :
  • 1 pkg cherrios
  • 1 pkg wheat or corn chex
  • 1 pkg pretzel sticks
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 1 tbsp worchestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp tabasco sauce (optional)
  • Directions :
    Mix dry ingredients together and pour sauce mix over them. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 250 degrees. Stir every 15 minutes.


    Pan Ham/Swiss Cheese

    Ingredients :
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp grated cheese
  • 2 tbsp prepared mustard
  • 1 pkg rectangular dinner rolls
  • Directions :
    freeze rolls, combine butter, sugar and mustard. mix well. when rolls are frozen well take out of freezer and cut open. put 1/2 of sauce on rolls in pan. put slices of ham and cheese, then ham and cheese and put remainder of sauce over this. put in oven at 350 degrees for 25 min. or brown in oven then put in microwave till warm


    Party Cheeseball

    Ingredients :
  • 2 (8 oz.) philadelphia brand cream cheese
  • 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 tbsp green pepper
  • 3 tbsp onion
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Directions :
    combine cream cheese and cheddar cheese mixing at medium speed with electric mixer until well blended. add all remaining ingredients. mix well. chill


    Peppy Pizza Muffins

    Ingredients :
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 (12 oz.) package of English muffins
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pkg (3 or 4 oz.) sliced pepperoni
  • Directions :
    heat oven to 425 degrees. spread pizza sauce on cut side of each muffin. sprinkle cheese over sauce. top with pepperoni slices. place on baking sheet. bake 12 to 15 min. or until cheese is melted and bubbly.


    Pita Pizza Snacks

    Ingredients :
  • 2 whole wheat pita breads 4 inches
  • 1/4 cup prepared basic tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 pkg pepperoni slices
  • Directions :
    split pita breads in half, toast top each half with tomato sauce, cheese, green pepper, pepperoni and mushrooms. place on paper towel lined serving plate and microwave 1 1/2 to 2 min. or until cheese melts, rotating plate after half the time.


    Pizza Cups

    Ingredients :
  • 3/4 lb ground chuck
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 (10 oz.) can refrigerated biscuits
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Directions :
    brown and drain beef. stir in tomato paste, onion and seasoning ( mixture will be thick ) cook over low heat for 5 min. stirring frequently, place biscuits in a greased muffin tin. spoon about 1/4 cup of meat mixture into biscuit lined cups and sprinkle with cheese bake at 400 degrees for 12 min. or until golden brown


    Ro-Tel Cheese Dip

    Ingredients :
  • 1 lb pasteurized processed cheese spread, cubed
  • 1 (10 oz.) can Ro-Tel diced tomatoes and green chilies
  • Directions :
    in saucepan combine ingredients; stir until cheese is melted. serve with tortilla chips, crackers or vegetables. makes 3 1/2 cups.


    Roasted Peanuts

    Ingredients :
  • 1 pkg raw peanuts
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • salt to your taste
  • Directions :
    pour oil in black cast iron skillet. add peanuts, stir peanuts to coat with oil. put in 350 degree oven. cook for 20 min. stirring often. enjoy


    Taco Dip

    Ingredients :
  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 1 pkg taco seasoning mix, mild
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 lb velveeta cheese
  • Directions :
    mix in large sauce pan, heat on low heat until cheese melts, serve hot with nacho chips


    Traditional Chex Party Mix

    Ingredients :
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 3/4 tsp seasoned salt
  • 2 1/4 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups of your favorite chex brand cereal
  • 1/2 cup of peanuts
  • 1/2 cup pretzels
  • Directions :
    in a small microwave safe bowl, melt margarine in micorwave on high 30 to 45 seconds. add seasoned salt and worcestershire sauce to melted margarine: mix well. pour over cereal, nuts and pretzels into large resealable plastic bag. pour margarine over cereal mixture inside bag. seat top of bag securely. shake bag until pieces are evenly coated. pour contents of bag into large microwave safe bowl. microwave on high 3 to 3 1/2 minutes. stop to stir every minute. spread on absorbent paper to cool. makes a 4 cup batch.
