Are you considering being a volunteer??? Our organization depends on a circle of volunteers to keep our committment of spaying and neutering a reality. So You don't have much time to spare?? Every helping hand, even the very simple tasks such as making phone calls, keeps our group from "skipping a beat". If you do have some time to spare to help make a difference, below is a very small sample of tasks that we need help with.
*** Making phone calls
*** Sitting on a committee for a fundraiser
*** Organizing, chairing a fundraiser
*** Helping at a fundraiser
*** Addressing postcards, flyers, making trips to the post office
*** Being a temperary Foster home for a pet that suits your household situation.
*** Do you have ideas??? Share them with us.. we are always open for new ideas
*** Participate in the phone chain for and emergency foster placement or rescue.
*** Help with our store projects
*** Make catnip toys or simple items for our ongoing fundraisers
Just to name a few.. do you have a talent you would like to share?? If your time is limited and you can only do things from your home, we have a task for you !!! Please consider volunteering some of your time to this worthy cause. Remember the statistics.. One pet at a time.
