Harry Hallman
Class of 1960
U. S. Army
Highest rank: Colonel

Most memorable military experience: I was commissioned into the U. S. Army just prior to graduation from Northeastern University, Boston, MA. I had joined ROTC and by graduation gained the rank of Cadet Col.

I was commissioned into the Signal Corps but after graduated from Seminary was transferred to the Chaplain Corps. I did no active time but 27 ½ years as a Reservist and retiring with the rank of COL. I had a number of hospital chaplain assignments with units throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. I ended my career as staff chaplain for the 94th ARCOM (Army Area Command) during the Gulf War. I retired within six months of bringing our troops home and just a couple of months received my first retired paycheck.
