12/10 to 12/16:

What a hectic week. I had a minor emergency on Tuesday, involving hampsters. A friend of ours daughter’s hampsters had babies, so I went to help and loaned them our spare cage. I'm sad to say that the mother ate two of the babies and is ignoring the third. I've also been wrapping the Christmas packages and getting things ready so we can leave on Friday.

I had a strange thing happen while wrapping packages. I would forget whom the package was for or I would put the wrong tag on the gift. I now have a good system for tagging, I love my post-it notes.

The last couple of days I have been sleeping a lot and not feeling very good. I think I have a bad cold or the flu. I hope that it gets better soon; I'm tired of being sick.

I had a migraine Saturday and slept all most all day, I'm now behind in what I've planned this week. I still need to get the finishing touches on one of the gifts, but other then that we are done completely shopping and most of the gifts are wrapped.

I can’t wait to leave Tacoma. There was a shooting on Friday night, early Saturday morning (2AM). I was sleeping and heard the shots, what a way to be awoken. I turned on the scanner and everyone scattered so I doubt that they will catch the people doing the shooting. There was a car in the complex that had all of it's windows smashed about the same time, too. That makes me wonder about leaving the car while we are gone. I'm going to see if we can rent a garage from the complex for the time we are gone.

Eric should be back from the box Monday and hopefully home on Wednesday. I miss him, so I can't wait. It's been a long month. I'm not sure what time his flight will be arriving or what time he will be able to come home.

I'm going to try to update the web while we are in Montana, but I'm not 100% sure if I will be able. If I don't I will update when we get home. Weather permitting we will be home on the second.

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

12/17 to 12/23

Well I’m going to try to update the page using HTML. This may turn out to look really funny or it might actually work. I hope it is at least legible and doesn’t hurt the page.

Eric’s flight came about 8PM Wednesday the 19th, it was so good to see him. He did have to go into work at 9 the next morning, but only until about noon, so that was not too bad. I was already packed and ready to leave the night Eric got home, but I knew that we weren’t leaving until Friday.

The trip to Montana was nice; we had good weather and not much rain or snow. We got out of Tacoma at about 6:30 Am and got her about 8PM that night. The roads from Lincoln to Great Falls, MT were a bit icy, but that nothing new. It’s nice to see family and to be able to relax. I can’t wait for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. There is a little snow on the ground; it snowed Friday morning the day we left Washington. My neck was a little sore when we got to Great Falls, but the TENS was a lifesaver. I’m having Eric put the extended wear pads on today so I won’t have to worry about it over Christmas.

Well we have people to visit and more relaxing to do J it’s going to be a nice few weeks. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Blessed Holiday season.

12/24 to 1/7/02:

Well, it's been awhile since I updated. We were on the road last Sunday (12/30) and I forgot yesterday (oops). It's going to be hard to get back into the swing of things.

We had a great Christmas, it was so nice to been home and with family. We got too much stuff though, it was funny trying to keep the tarp from flying around down the road. I'm trying to find room for all of the things we got, but I think I should be able to get everything put away.

Eric worked half a day on Friday and took me to get my MRI. I didn't know that it was going to be a 'normal' MRI and one with contrast (dye in the blood to see blood flow). The dye gave me an upset stomach so it was good that Eric was there to drive home. He was supposed to come and get me and I was going to take him back to work and pick him up later. Next appointment is the 22nd to review the MRI's from before and after the surgery, I can't wait to see the difference between the MRI's.

I'm still working on finishing my medical billing course, all I have left is half of a chapter and to mail the last assignment off. I've been looking at the job listing at the local hospitals and Madigan. Franciscan Health System, the 'company' that operates two of the local hospitals, is having a job fair on the 18th. I hope to have my course done so I can apply. If I'm still waiting for my certificate I'm still going and will talk with the representatives that are there, so when I am done with the course I can apply to the right people.

Better get back to putting away things and getting that chapter done. I will update on Sunday this weekend.
