This model was just plain fun to build. It is a Monogran Napa Hornaday Truck model. Racescale Grafix decals (Thanks Derek) & Model Master paint. Johnny drove this once or twice in 1996-1997. I am not excactly sure of the proper color, as reference photos are rare. I went ahaead & painted it Pennzoil yellow. This is also when I started clearcoating my models. What a difference! If you don't want to sit & polish for hours, Just lay on several coats of Model Master clear, & you're all set! It also protects the finish & decals. |
