CLARENCE W. ORCUTT (JOHN, CYRUS, JACOB) was born 27 May, 1867 in Pomfret TWP, N.Y., and died Nov. 21, 1917 in Bradford Pa.; Mckean Co. He married LEONORA (NORA) MAY GATES  June 27, 1887 in Villenova Twp, N.Y.by Rev A.J. Wilcox. She was b. 1872 and died 1916,  the daughter of MYRON AND HELENE GATES. Obit: Clarence Orcutt Source: Cherry Creek News (N.Y.) 30 Nov., 1917 Died at Hospital at Bradford, Pa. 23 Nov., 1917. He was doing Carpenter work at De Golia, Pa. when he fell off a roof on 3 Nov.. Well known carpenter where he lived. Born 27 May, 1867, he married Nora Gates 20 June 1887. Surviving are a son, Dr. Lawrence Orcutt a Dentist in Rochester, N.Y., who is married to Julia with a 4 year old daughter, Dorothy. Also, 2 sisters, Mrs. Walter Whitney (Alice) and Mrs. D.W. Thomas (Henrietta) of (unreadable) Ca.? A brother Lester of S. Dayton. Burial: Villenova Cemetery, Villenova, Chaut. Co., N.Y. (No marker. Probably next to Nora).
