Here, when this page is finished, I will feature my favorite country singers. I will tell what makes them the best, and the songs they sing, that help make them so. I will also feature weekly listings of your favorite artists, and the songs they sing. To vote on your favorite artists, sign the guestbook.

It seems to be a hard choice in picking the bast male vocalist now. There are so many good songs. But I've narrowed it to a few.

George Strait

With his new album, "Carrying Your Love With Me", he has managed to come up with a couple of chart toppers in "One Night at a Time" and "Carrying Your Love With Me". They've been number one for a couple of weeks.

Toby Keith

His new hit was almost recorded by Faith Hill, but she decided to get married and have a family. "When We Were In Love" describes a wonderful time, when the only thing that matter to two people is each other. His words make everyone who have ever loved remember, and those who never have, dream.

Alan Jackson

Is it any wonder why this man is entertainer of the year? His new CD "Everything I Love" continues the string of Jackson hits with songs like "Everything I Love," "Who's Cheatin Who," and "There Goes." I really like the latter, and I crank it up everytime it comes on.

Kenny Chesney

"She Got It All" is another really good song. It is currently 3rd on TNN, and follows many great Chesney hits. My personal favorite is still "Grandpa Told Me So."

I can only think of a couple real good female artists at the time.

Deana Carter

She has a very successful album, Did I Shave My Legs For This, and as far as I'm concerned, there isn't one bad track on the cd!! She captured my attention with Strawberry Wine one morning driving to school, and I was hooked. I've heard that she likes all music, and is just doing country, because that's what she was offered. I hope she remains a part of the country scene. A lot of people who don't even like country seem to be drawn to Deana. She has a wonderful voice, and I was shocked to learn that she is 33 years old!!

Trisha Yearwood

Her new song "How Do I Live?" is 100% truth and featured in "ConAir." I'm not a big fan of hers, but this song is outstanding!! To hear a little of this song in Real Audio, Click my "Radio" link. I'm sure you will agree.
