Effects

The effects mode that the K2500 defaults to is Current mode. This means that the voice and MIDI channel that is currently visible on the LEDscreen has an overall effect on all the voices and MIDI channels of the entire K2500 at this time.

It would be a good idea to make a note of this voice and MIDI channel so that you can set your K2500 back up to sound the way you want each time you come back in the lab. One way to do this would be to option-mouse click "track name" in Performer and type FX next to the proper MIDI channel assignment.

Master Reset

To do a master reset to the K2500 (returning it to it's factory settings) press the Master button then Reset and confirm that your really, really, Really, REALLY sure.

System Exclusive Bulk Dump

After you have customized your own patches and saved them to the user banks in the K2500 you can store them either to floppy disk or as sysex data into a track in Performer. To do a sysex bulk dump, press Master-->Object-->Dump-->then Select each object you want to send, then press OK.  Confirming OK will begin the transmission of the sysex data into a track you have record enabled in Performer.
