Along with his family he then moved to Canada, settled in Ontario, commenced working with adult population in the role of a community OT with a home health care agency. Having resided and provided OT services in Chatham-Kent for last few years, Seyed continued his professional OT role as a subcontract (self-employed) with a company in London Ontario in 2005. He still provides OT services in southwest Ontario, mostly in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. Seyed is continuing his training to work effectively with people who live with physical and mental disabilities to regain their optimal independent living skills. Seyed studied "Self-confidence in children affected by Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), 1999"; "about effects of Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Services on Disabled and Under-served Population in 24 cities, towns and communities, 2001"; "the culturally-oriented and traditional methods of deformity prevention in cerebral palsied children, 1995".
Seyed has been very active in the community services and been volunteering at the Chatham YMCA in the role of a certified individual conditioner since 2004.
