Saipan - Dec. 27-31, 2002 |
After 4 months of hard work, Joel, Nathan and I headed to the small island of Saipan for a "Christmas" vacation. We had never heard of this place before so here's some info. on it. Saipan is part of a small group of islands in the North Pacific called the Northern Mariana Islands. These islands are actually part to the Commonwealth of the U.S.A and they use that currency. They have 2 seasons (Rainy and Dry) and, at the time of the trip, their rainy season was at its end. We enjoyed the beautiful tropical island and it's warm beaches for a few days which were a little slice of heaven... |

Bird Island. One of the most beautiful spots on the island. Home to many birds and host of a huge coral reef. |

By the way, Saipan is actually a volcanic island. Or I should say that it was once a big volcano. |
