From June 20th to July 23rd, I took a trip over to Ireland do to an archaeological field school program. While there I had an incredibly amazing time. On the weekends my newly found friends and I would go travel around the country, such as to Roscommon, Athlone, Galway and Dublin. On my own, on the 3rd weekend, I took a trip up to Glasgow and also, after the program, I spent 3 days in London, exploring the sights on my own. I had a truly terrific time. Minus the rain (which was almost constant for three weeks), the weather/(temperature) was beautiful, the people were friendly, and the atmosphere was unlike anything I've seen in the States.
