| On April 25, 2006, 38 cadets of the Passaic High School NJROTC participated in the Mini Boot Camp/Leadership Academy during their spring break. They all earned the Orienteering, Rifle, Physical Fitness, and Mini Boot Camp ribbons. They experienced archery target shooting as well as the .22 caliber rifle shoot under close scrutiny of qualified instructors. They cooked their own meals and slept in cabins. Each morning they were greeted by the volunteer instructors from the Marine Corps and Army. All agreed that this was the experience of a lifetime. |
