| Turkey Pies Please make an effort to sell at least one pie. These are due by the November officers meeting. This is a money maker for the club and helps keep our dues down to a reasonable cost. | November Officer’s Meeting Due to the opening of CT Deer firearms season, the November Officer's meeting will be the second Wednesday (11/10 at 7:00) at the Spartans Club. |
| Pheasant Stocking Chairman Ray Szajkowski (860-828-5563) will be in charge of stocking the Colchester property and Co-Chairman Steve Piera (860-677-6740) will assume the Meyer’s Pond (Union) property responsibilities. Anyone interested in helping with the stockings please contact Ray or Steve. The Union schedule will be adhered to only if attendance warrants. If it is determined by the committee that attendance does not warrant the number of birds allotted for any scheduled date then the remaining birds will be delivered to Colchester for a Sunday evening stocking. In other words Union will be stocked with only enough birds for those who show up on Saturday mornings. |

| Union Property Directions I-84 eastbound (toward Massachusetts) to Exit 73 - Route 190. Meyers Pond Turn right off of exit onto Rt190 toward Union center. Couple of miles you’ll come to a slight Y in the road. Bear right onto Kinney Hollow Rd (winding road). Continue to bear right past town hall and school for app 2 miles. You’ll pass between 2 small ponds and go down a small hill. Hull property will be on your left look for guardrail gate. Caution: If you continue on Kinney Hollow Rd you will enter Yale Forest. Webster Hill Rd. Turn left off of exit onto Rt190. Take first right onto Stickney Hill Rd and immediately turn left onto Webster Hill Rd. Continue on Webster Hill Rd (about a mile or so) until you come to a gate on the left with Hull Forestry signs. If you continue just past the stop sign there will be a second gate on your left. P.S. to leave – reverse these directions. |
