Please signup for specific sub-committees or just general help as available. The undertaking and success of any project will be subject to the support and participation of the general membership. Volunteers are still needed to fulfill their new point system requirements. Signup sheets will be posted with the Membership Meeting sign-in sheets or you may contact any of the above co-chairman to volunteer your services. Help is needed in all phases of the cost analysis, planning and implementation of projects to improve the usability, appearance and security of the assets of the club. Either way it is a good way to earn points and socialize with fellow members while contributing to the future of the organization. |

| Bookkeeper Needed – very important reading As you are probably aware our Bookkeeper elected in November of 2004 has resigned his position due to personal reasons. Our past Bookkeeper of many years Bert Lantz has graciously accepted the position in abstention for the remainder of this year but will not be able to continue beyond. This is a very important position to the financial welfare of the Organization and if it is not filled for next year we will be forced to go outside of the Organization and pay for the services of a professional accountant. Bert has also agreed to spend the remainder of this year explaining the duties and training any member or members who may think they would like to give it a try. A minimal amount of experience with personal computers is required. Anyone who may be interested in running for this position in the upcoming (November 2005) election should contact either President John Wrobel Sr. @ 828-1942 or Bert @ 666-3127. You may also express your interests to the NBHFC e-mail box nbhf@sbcglobal.net .. |
| Vandalism at the Colchester Grounds There appears to have been some recent vandalism at the Colchester Club Grounds mostly in the Paul’s Pond area. The boards and screen from the water level dam have been twice removed and thrown on the ground causing the water level in the pond to drop dramatically. The airflow valve adjustments on the aeration tower have been tampered with and additional damage has been done around the shore area as well as things being thrown into the pond itself. There has also been some vandalism in various other areas. Some steps have been taken to try to prevent further vandalism of the dam and tower but if anyone notices anything that looks to have been possibly vandalized please contact any officer immediately to report it. And if you see anyone on club properties that you do not recognize please do not hesitate to ask to see their current membership card or some other form of identification. If they refuse or cannot produce proper identification feel obligated to call the local police department |
