| Wildlife Management Committee The wildlife management committee will hold another work party on Saturday July 31st to continue the cleanup of the hardwoods and back field areas of the Colchester grounds. Further information can be obtained by contacting Rich Christensen @ 563-2344 or 529-6492 or Phillip Gorneault @ 828-7743. Chainsaws, leaf blowers and weed wackers would be helpful. Food & beverages will be supplied to workers of this event. |
| Spring Event – Pig Roast Our annual spring event was held on Sunday June 6th at the club grounds in Colchester. Chairman Chris Toce along with co-chairmen Tim Robinson & Tim Walsh would like to thank all those who helped out at this event. The committee reported a net profit of $2893.43 (with a little more still to be received) at the July meeting and have volunteered to do it again (even better) next year. Congratulations on a job well done and see ya next year. |
| Summer Membership Meeting Reminder The August 4th & September 1st Membership Meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Club Grounds in Colchester. Food and beverages will be available beginning at 5:00 for a small ($5.00) fee. |

| Union – Meyer’s Pond A motion was made and past at the July membership meeting to have the electric turned on (on a trial basis) until November 1st. A lock box will be constructed around the electrical outlets and a combination lock will be attached to prevent unauthorized usage. |

| Paul’s Pond - Colchester An analysis is in progress, in conjunction with the State DEP and the Property Management Committee, to determine what can be done to improve the conditions of Paul’s Pond for greater fish survival and also recreational use. The committee is looking at chemical weed and algae control as well as aeration options (wind / power / solar). More information should be available by the August 4th meeting. |

| Union – Meyer’s Pond Bill Hull has requested the use of the upper field area of this property for his annual company picnic on Saturday August 14th. His request was approved at the July meeting with conditions that he still holds a liability policy on this property. |
| Deer Archery and Winter Turkey Permits Anyone interested in getting permits to hunt archery on the two pieces of Union property should be at the August meeting in Colchester in order to have them for opening days. They need to be mailed to Bill Hull and should be back for the September meeting. |
