It was so fascinating to me to attend mass in Spanish. It was almost exactly like mass at my church. There weren¡¯t any missals or song books to follow along with, though.

The music was more festive than any other religious music I¢¥ve ever heard with guitars, flute, mandolin and other instruments playing upbeat melodies that almost sounded Celtic or Irish. No organs or depressing dirges.
