Merry Christmas to Lauren and her family! I have followed Lauren's journey on a daily basis since Bill contacted me last February. My first action every day at work is to check on how she's doing. The website has been a wonderful way to keep everyone u dated and I thank Aunt Nean for her difficult task. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I've always had a special place in my heart for Bill, since I worked with him in Pennsylvania many moons ago. Now I have come to love and admire the whole unch of you. Hi Lauren, Tis the Collies in WV again. Tis been busy in WV. Mom keeps us hopping. We've been going to these places that are huge! Lots of doggies to sniff and wag tails at.. jumps and tunnels to run through and over.. strange people.. and really great smells.. bu we are having a ball. Some white stuff fell out of the sky the other day. It was pretty interesting. Have you ever caught those little white sparkly things on your tongue? I recommend it! Mom says that your doing better and are home from the hospital! I don't know what a hospital is, but I think its sorta like being in the dog house. Or maybe like going to the vet? Not my favorite thing. Ok, so its on the bottom of the list in fact. Woof! Keep your chin up little one, and the collies in WV send yo love and doggie slobbers. (Especially Thunder, he is awful about that..)

Good Morning, Lauren!! Ivy & I had a very early morning walk, before the sun came up. It was so quiet, so pretty with the fresh snow on the trees, we were the only ones outside. You know, it was so quiet that I could even hear Santa Claus and his elves w rking away in the toy shop. I heard pounding and sawing and whirring and beeps, whistles, and horns. Hello Lauren. Saw your Dad, Timmy, and your grandma and grandpop on Friday and your dad was so pleased to express how well you are doing. You keep fighting and we will keep praying for your recovery. Hopefully you will be home real soon and wont that b a nice change for you and the family. Hi Lauren, Mom was just reading me your journal entries. It had been a while since we checked in on you! Mom took Thunder to a show in Kentucky a few weekends ago, and I had to stay home and be doggie sat. I am not sure what that means.. no one sat on me. And why she had to take thunder so far to be shown is beyond me. People right here can see him fine. Not much for a collie to do home alone. Chew on bones, and track lots of leaves in the house. My son Josh has NB III to with MYCN amp so he is on the stage 4 type scheme too. He has had 6 rounds of chemo and is due for surgery 30th October. Then its into BMT. Josh hates Raspberries but loves Apple Juice by the gallon and chocolate mousse. God Bless You

Hi Lauren! I have been AWOL and I apologize. The trees here are turning into their fall colors and are sooooo beautiful---reds, oranges, yellow, crimson. I just love the smell of falling leaves--it reminds me of the leaf piles we used to rake as kids. W had so much fun running and jumping in or burying ourselves in them. Then the s'mores...Mmmmmmmm. Have Aunt Nean make you some!! Kermit has been a little bit sick--I let him swim in a dirty pond and the little germs gave him diarrhea, poor baby! But h is OK now. He's growing bigger & bigger, just like you are. Aunt Nean says you are feeling real good and I am sooo happy about that. Wishing you sweet dreams, Lauren!! Love, Margi
