***EMERGENCY ALERT***
Radio for Peace International (RFPI), a global progressive community
shortwave
radio station based in Costa Rica, is in immediate danger of being
forcibly
shut down. On July 21st, 2003, RFPI was served with an "eviction"
notice by
the United Nations run University for Peace in Costa Rica. They were
given 2
weeks to vacate the premises and on August 4th, 2003, they will face
armed
eviction and shut-down of the station. An International call for
solidarity
