Rin hatched at Cathair Fionabhainn.

In the days that followed the Fiery Fall Festival Frenzy, MoogerMint had been noticing mild changes in Reatilirinith's additude. For instance, she seemed a bit more distant. And not only from MoogerMint herself, but from her sisters MelberLime and ShanIon, their dragons Kovphaleiryth and Tekerinaerith, and all the others participating in the FFFF (though that part was no surprise). Lately, she had been acting as though she were moping, walking around as though someone had harmed her spiritually.

MoogerMint felt it was her duty to find out what was wrong and to make things right. After lunch and some goofing around with her sisters, she finally had found Reatilirinith sprawled lazily upon the grassy earth, watching the young dragons and hatchlings playing around with pained eyes. Mint strolled slowly towards the huge reptile, slumping to the ground next to the rainbow-lavender beauty once reached. She turned her gaze then the way of Reatilirinith's, noticing the dragons and their bonds having the time of their lives. She turned back to the feathery dragon, and noticed her eyes were closed. It was a futile attempt to bluff sleep, as her mind was still awake with a jumble of thoughts, all illiterately scrambled.

"What's wrong, Rin? I'm really worried about you," Moogz cocked her head in confusion.

Rin heaved a large sigh and opened her eyes, staring once again at the gather in front of her. A short silence fell over the two of them before she gave MoogerMint a very Rin-style answer, Ah, nothing. Hey, let's go wormhole jumping. We haven't done that at all since we arrived here!

MoogerMint literally fell over backwards. "Rin!! I mean it!" She lifted her eyes to see a beaming Reatilirinith, rainbow-faceted eyes swirling brilliant colors and sparkling vividly.

Please?

She does mean it! MoogerMint gave an audible sigh, seeing Rin's cheery grin again, something she hasn't seen in a long while, and could not say no. "We should ask MelberLime, ShanIon, and Captain Fhilsimian if they want to come. Or if we can."

After the FFFF, and dropping Kovphaleiryth, a much-complaining Tekerinaereth, and Fhilsimian's new(er) bond off at the Dopp-Rock Asteroid, the girls and Fhil, upon Reatilirinith, went for a ride.

MoogerMint, all the while, was thoroughly confused. A bit earlier, Rin had had a short conversation with Kovpha' and MeLi while MoogerMint chatted with her younger sister ShanIon and her Iridescent Tekerinaereth. She had felt a bit suspicious when noticing Reatilirinith's conversation with the other two, but she kept her distance otherwise.

While sitting on the soft hide, MoogerMint began to study the situation. Rin has been surprisingly happy ever since she asked if we could go on this trip. She has never gotten this excited since the first time we went wormhole jumping, and even with weeks gone by without being out here before, she's never been this giddy about it since. And why did the others have to stay behind? What's going on?

Spotting a cluster of disbanded wormholes in the distance, Reatilirinith froze momentarily in surprise and happiness. Hey! She turned her head, indicating that she was "speaking" directly to MoogerMint, Let's take that one! I have a good feeling about it. She faced one to the distant right of her with a sparkle gleaming in her lucid eyes.

Why that one, Rin? Moogz thought to herself quietly, so her Lavender couldn't pick up on the waves. There are so many others out here. Why that one?

Gliding into the swirling tunnel of color, they found themselves spat out into an area covered in a quilt of snow. Reatilirinith landed gracefully in the foam-like snow as the occupants on her back evacuated.

With a wide grin smeared on her face, ShanIon stared into the frosty sheet of tiny, plummeting ice crystals. She carefully picked up a wad of frosty water crystals, and hastily shoved it into her face. MelberLime and MoogerMint quickly brought their gaze to lay upon the giggling ShanIon once they heard the splatter. Reatilirinith, however, was too busy taking in the scenery in excitement.

Mint strode over to her giant Lavender and sighed a cloud of icy breath to catch her attention, "Rin? Is there something you want to tell me?" Moogz's sisters turned to her.

What do you mean? Rin questioned her rider. MoogerMint glared at her as if to say, "I know you have a reason for being here." Rin turned to MelberLime, who nodded in response.

I wish to participate in the Flurry Frenzy.

"Fuh-Fuh-Flurry... Frenzy?" Moogz took a hesitant step back.

Reatilirinith let out a draconic chuckle, You don't have to participate, but I want to experience motherhood... I want to be a mother!

MoogerMint turned her head and sighed. Rin shifted her feet around nervously, awaiting an answer. MoogerMint turned to her sisters and laughed, "I hope you don't mind staying in a Winter Wonderland for a while, guys!"

Reatilirinith flashed a reptilian smile and rumbled. Oh, thank you! You won't regret this, I promise!
