Black Cross was formed in 1985 in Barreiro. After several line-up changes, they recorded a demo in 1986 with the tracks ‘Genocídio’, ‘Sexta-Feira 13’ and ‘Heavy Metal’. They played a few legendary concerts, in which they assumed a very aggressive image, wearing inverted crosses and lots of leather and metal studs. The vocalist once got to eat brains and blood on stage. Alas, the band didn’t last very long.
