In early 2002, Thamuz and Ayperos decided to form a band called Shadow Hordes, playing cold raw Black Metal. Due to several reasons, this project was put in ice, although one song had been created. After a year, Thamuz met Anamelech and started composing and recording material. Several rehearsal tapes were done, until in 2004, Thamuz contacted Ayperos once again to perform vocals. And so Black Plague was formed. At the moment, there is one official demo recording, intitled 'Doom Funeral Monoliths', where a raw and slow Black Metal can be heard. This was released in CDR by the band and limited only to 50 copies! Meanwhile, there are other  recordings being done and planned to be released in early 2005.
