God Jul!
(Merry Christmas!)

This is a little Chrismas Greeting page instead of Christmas cards. Iīm aware that itīs a bit late but itīs better than none at all right?

Here we are - family and friends around the table. Real cozy. This year we were more people than usual. Except my family my motherīs aunt and three of my japanese friends (Tsuyoshi, Ayako and Kayo) were there too. The more the merrier as they say.

My brother Johan and Tsuyoshi put together a gingerbread house which Tsuyoshi had designed. It was great.
After some decoration the beauty looked like this!
Johan spent a lot of time writing Christmas rythmes on his parcels.
In the evening we played a game. I have no idea what it is called but it is quite fun sometimes.
Here is the Andersson siblings! My sister Anna, me, and Johan.
Some delicious Swedish Christmas dinner! I love it!
I just canīt stop eating until Iīm completely stuffed. There are so many things and everything tastes so good.
Here is the Christmas tree with packages and a traditional straw goat under it.

Christmas dance! I put on an old vinyl Christmas record and we danced like I havenīt danced since a was a little kid.

The famous dance "små grodorna" ("the little frogs"). These are the dance moves when you sing "...no ears, no ears..." and "...no tails, no tails...". It is a must-try!
Of course we watched the Disney Christmas program (the same program has been every year for the last 38 years). And a little later "Karl-Bertil Jonssons Julafton" ("Karl-Bertil Jonssons Christmas Eve"), a great swedish cartoon written by the great comedian Tage Danielsson in the seventees. While watching it...
...Santa Claus and his twin showed up on a surprise visit! Everybody were surprised and wondered who had planned this. They turned out to be my sisterīs childhood friend and her sister.
When the surprise Santas had left we started with the presents. There was a lot of great presents but the one that without any doubt made us all laugh the most was a fish on a board that moved "danced" and sang two songs - in Chinese!
The next day (the 25th) we went down to the lake and took pictures and had fun on the ice. The ice was just 2 or 3 days old so most of us was a bit afraid to go out too far in the beginning, but my father and especially my brother jumped and ran around without going through the ice, so after a while we went out too. My father and Tsuyoshi played with a "spark" ("kick" , itīs the one on the picture).
Later we went out again to take some photos of the sunset. And of course run around on the ice too...
You can see our house in the background. Johan, Anna and Tsuyoshi are standing in the same place as in the picture above, but this is taken from the opposite direction.
The ice is really beautiful. It only gets this blank and beautiful if the lake freezes over without any snow falling. It is quite unusual. I hope there is no snow for a couple of days so I can take some more beautiful pictures.

I hope you had as merry a Christmas as I did!
And to all of you who I wonīt meet on New Yearīs -

A Happy New Year!
