There are two main sports in Neptunia: Hockey, and Football. In 1312, an award was given to the fledgling NFL (Neptunian Football League) to be given to the team who wins the final playoff game. It is called the Magnolia Trophy.

The same type of thing was done for hockey, as well. In the 1313, the Neptunian Hockey League (NHL) was given a "cup" to give to the team who won the playoffs. It is called the Magnolia Cup.

Both sports are very exciting to watch, and draw large crowds all the time. One sport operates during the time the other is in the off season, so there are sports all year long, and they do overlap a bit.

Of course there are other sports: Basketball (no pro league, several minor leagues), Baseball (same deal), Rugby, Soccer and everyones favourite, Golf.

There is another sport, called Curling. Maybe you have heard of it. There is a championship in which 44 teams (one from each province, N.C.F.D and the returning champion) play a round robin. The teams are split into four divisions, and each team plays 10 games. The top 32 teams play in the best-of-one playoffs untill a winner is choosen.
