- Major Project: Image processing- Texture segmentation using Gabor and S- transforms.

  Work: implementation of boundary detection algorithms and development of GUI.
  Tools/language used: MATLAB and C (for texture generation).
  End result: A user-friendly package which allows users to choose textures, change filter parameters, has options to present the result in spatial/frequency domains.
- Mini Project: Software Engineering-Development of Municipality Information System.
  Project Guide: Dr S.K.Rath, Professor and Head, Dept.of CSEA, REC Rourkela.
  Work:
  - Requirements Engineering at Rourkela Municipality, Uditnagar.
  - development and presentation of DFDs and SRS.
  - development of GUI and database.
  Tools/language used: Visual Basic(front-end) and Access(back-end).
  End result: A user-friendly package which aids in activities like Birth/Death registration, tax collection etc.in Municipalities.
- Mini Project: Operations Research-Development of a package to solve Operations Research Problems.
  Project Guide: Dr S.K.Rath, Professor and Head, Dept.of CSEA, REC Rourkela.
  
  Work: Development and Implementation of algorithms to solve various problems in OR such as Travelling-Salesman Problem, Transportation Problem, Non-Linear/Linear Programming, Project management using PERT/CPM etc.
  Tools/language used: C/C++.
  
  End result: A menu-driven, ready package which is useful to solve abovementioned problems in OR.
