| Professor Albus Dumbledore Headmaster of Hogwarts. He is very wise and considered to be the greatest wizard of all time. Dumbledore discovered the 12 uses of Dragon's blood and even did alchemy with Nicholas Flamel. Though a bit silly at times, you can always rely on him. |
| Professor Minerva McGonagall Head of Gryffindor house, Deputy Headmistriss and Harry's Transfiguration teacher. Professor McGonagall is strict (but not as strict as Snape) and will even take away House Points from Gryffindor students. She is also an Animagus (a wizard or witch who can become an animal) and uses this ability to keep a low profile or to impress students. The only thing to fear about McGonagall is when you run into her when your sneaking the halls. |
| Professor Severus Snape Snape is head of the Slytherin house and the Potions teacher (though he would rather be the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher). He favors the Slytherins and dislikes the Gryffindors. He likes to scare Neville and absolutely hates Harry and his deceased father. Snape is very strict and will deduct House Points even if it's just one little mistake. You'll know Snape by the shoulder lenghth black hair and his black and gray robes. |
| Rubeus Hagrid Hagrid introduced Harry to the wonerful world of wizardry. He may look dangerous, but he is the most gentle (and jolly) giant you will ever meet. Hagrid has a love for dangerous magical creatures (in the third book, he becomes the Care of Magical Creatures teacher) like Dragons, Acromantulas (giant tarantulas), and even three headed dogs. Being the Game keeper at Hogwarts, he often trims the plants, brings in the Christmas tree and all of that other stuff. Beware; his cooking is a nightmare! |
| The Dursleys Uncle Vernon- Harry's horrible uncle. A beefy man with a thick mustache. Absolutely HATES Harry. Aunt Petunia- Harry's dreadful aunt. She is very skinny and has twice as much neck as the average human. She dislikes Harry because her sister, Lily Potter was "the Favorite." Dudley- Harry's bratty cousin. He is very fat and porky. He will do almost ANYTHING to get his way. Aunt Marge- Uncle Vernon's sister. She breeds dogs for a living (not to mention she's very mean). |
