| Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Young Harry Potter finds out that he is a wizard. Harry goes to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry makes friends, enemies and even saves Hogwarts from the wrath of a 12-foot tall troll (with help from his friend, Ron Weasley). Will Harry unravel the mysterys of the Sorcerer's Stone? + The movie followed the book pretty well. Quidditch was awesome. Acting and costumes were great. - Harry didn't do much spellcasting. There was swear words. They messed up the Fluffy joke. STAFFER'S OPINIONS Ness- I was lucky enough to get tickets. Now I have the DVD. The movie really is a triumph. Kirby3- The special effects were convincing. The actors were very, very good. But me no like how they said Hagrid bought Fluffy off an Irish guy. The movie could've used Snape's challenge (read the book). Roadrash- The book is better. They took out all of the good parts!! Obi-Wan Potter- It was good. |
| Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Harry Potter really wants to go back to Hogwarts, when a House-elf named Dobby warns him not to go back to Hogwarts. Harry of course, does not heed the warning and goes back to Hogwarts. Other than the pretty-boy Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and Draco Malfoy being on the Slytherin Quidditch team, Harry notices strange happenings and learns the mystery of The Chamber of Secrets. Show that Gryffindor courage Harry! + Special effects were better, Harry did more magic, and the movie was both funny AND scary! - They left out a few details from the book. STAFFER'S OPINIONS: Ness- "One of the greatest films of all time, the second Harry Potter movie is truly enchanting!" Kirby3- It was a pretty good movie. Dobby was truly convincing. Roadrash- Greatly improved from the first movie. It was good. Obi-Wan Potter- It was a good movie, the scary scenes literally made you jump! |
