| How to beat the 8 Club Leaders: |
| Nikki of the Grass Club You'll need a good deck consisting of Fire Pokemon. Charmander, Magmar and Moltres are good Pokemon to win against her. To duel her you need to beat all three Grass Club members. Make sure you have alotta Fire Energy. Potions and Full Heals are also helpful. |
| Gene of the Rock Club He's easy if you have the right deck. Scyther, Pinsir, and Oddish are good against him. He uses Rhyhorn's Leer to prevent you from attacking so it is good to have Switch and Scoop Up in your deck but even better if your pokemon have low Retreat Costs. |
| Ken of the Fire Club You'll need alotta cards if you wanna duel him. You need Water and Fighting Pokemon (like Wartortle or Machop). The easy way to beat him is to take out his Chanseys and Growlithes quickly. |
| Nicholas of the Lightning Club Nicholas has Pokemon that are prone to fighting types. It's best to use Machop, Dugtrio, and Cubone to take out his Pokemon. You'll need Full Heals. |
| Amy of the Water Club Amy's deck uses Blastoise and other Pokemon that do damage depending on the amount of Water Energy. Pikachu, Bulbasaur and Electabuzz are your best bets against her. Potions, Pluspowers, Defenders and Energy Retrievals work for Grass and Lightning decks. |
| Murray of the Psychic Club My Charmander Bonfire deck as seen on page 1 of this section works well, or you can create your own deck. Colorless Pokemon with resistance to Psychic types work well and Gastly/Haunter/Gengar work well too. Keep Potions and Full Heals handy. |
| Rick of the Science Club Use Psychic Pokemon. Full Heals and Potions are a must. Take out his Muk quickly if your deck relies on Pokemon Powers. |
| Mitch of the Fighting Club He is indeed the toughest of the Club Masters. Use Pokemon with Resistance to Fighting and Psychic types. Beware of his Machamp. |
