| There hasn't been Maverick activity for years, and MegaMan X and Zero have been living in peace, but little did anyone know that Sigma had yet another evil plan. Sigma casues the space colony Eurasia, fall to Earth it will hit in 16 hours, then he takes this time to release the Sigma virus all over the earth throwing it into chaos. It's up to X and Zero to save the world... again! |
| ORDER TO DEFEAT THE MAVERICKS: note: In the Armerican realease of this game all the boss names were changed to names that are a parody of the band Guns N' Roses. Whilst in the manual the original Japanese names were featured. The names bleow are the names I prefer to call the bosses. Grizzly Slash - His weakness is Axels power the X-buster/Z-saber works just fine though. In fact pretty much all of the bosses can be beaten using X-buster/Z-saber. Duff Mcwhalen- Cresent Shot is his weakness. Squid Adler- Use Duff's power. Izzy Glow- Use Squid's power. Dark Necrobat- Use Izzy's power. The Skiver- Use Dark Hold then shoot or slash away. Mattrex- Use The Skiver's power. Axel the Red- Use Mattrex's power. Other Bosses Dynamo- He appears after you have deafeated two bosses and then when there is only two bosses left to defeat. Use X-buster/Z-saber to defeat him he's really quite easy. Shadow Devil- Duck or jump to dogde the blocks of slime and then use the X-buster/Z-saber to hit his eye. When he gets weak he'll transform into a hopping skull and the battle becomes much easier. Ranga Banga- Hit the eyes that come out of the sockets each color has a different attack if the walls move in then cling to the wall and hit the mouth when it starts moving watch out for spikes that may come out of the walls. X- If you sart the third Sigma level as Zero you'll fight X. X's attacks are all charged he will either use, Double Cyclone, Frost Tower, X-buster, or an attack that shoots soul bodies every where. His color will indicate hich attack he uses. Zero- Depending on wether or not the shuttle missions succedes will change this fight. If it succeded than Zero will shoot an enery blade form his Z-saber, use his giga attack, or shoot his Z-buster. If it failed then he'll throw two energy wheels before shoot an enery blade form his Z- saber. Also if he hasnt dealt in damge in a long while then he'll unleash an instant kill move. Sigma- His first forms weakness is Squid Adler's power but its easier for him to hit you if you use it. Duck under or jump over his attacks. Use X-buster/Z-saber on his second form. You'll have to hit the jewel on his head. Dont bother destroying his hands. Watch out for an attack where purple blocks form it can kill you instantly. |
| Parts After the bosses have reached level 9 (They gain levels as time wears down and as other bosses are defeated) you'll get an option to make power up parts that can be equiped to the characters. Selecting the weapons and life ption will create parts tailored more towards X whilst weapons and energy will create parts tailored more towards Zero. |

| Choosing characters- Choosing X before the first level will start X out with the Fourth Armor. If you choose Zero you'll get his Z-buster Time- You have 16 hours before the colony crashing every time you select a stage you loose one hour. Sigma Virus- Floating heads that look like Sigma. If you get hit by four of them then you will become infected for a short amount of time. When infected X will loose health and Zero will become invincible. |
