| About 3 weeks into my pregnancy I started getting morning sickness. At first I thought it was just nerves about starting work, but when I got comfortable at work I was still dizzy & sick in the mornings. So our friend, Paul, bought me a preg. test... which didn't work. So I dug for change & we bought a 2 tests in 1 package (First Response). The 1st one I took b4 I missed my period & it came out negative. Now, your supposed to wait 3-5 min. to check it, but the 2nd one I took, July 2nd, came out posative after 5 sec. After we told our parents they told us to go see a Dr. Since I was on Birth Control & he wore a condom my dr. told us to go get my blood drawn at the hospital lab. It too said I was pregnant. By this time I was 7 weeks pregnant. |
| Kyle told his parents that I might be preg. b4 we found out that I actually was. At first his mom, Cassie, freaked out & tried to kick him out. But his dad, Jack, kept telling her not to (usually its the other way around lol). But now she is all kinds of happy & can't wait to be a grandma. We told my mom & she was kind of worried & upset for us, but said that if I was she would help as best as she could. Telling my dad & Lisa was a diferent story all together. We told them & dad was disapointed but waited till Kyle was gone to actually lecture me. Pretty much I was told to find a place if I was keeping this baby. |
| We quit Burger King. I DID work at Popeyes for a few weeks, but I quit because they were working me too much & I wasn't about to put my baby & my relationship on the line for a job. So now I work at a Daycare & I'm going to school after work for my CDA & then my associates in teaching. I like it, the people I work with, & the kids. Though sometimes I want to smack the parents. |
| We went to HUD & they said they would help us out. It took a few weeks but we found an apt. that is, by law, ours on 8/1/04. We should get to move in by the 7th. Our rent, thanks to HUD, is only $25/m. Now that I'm working our rent is $114/m, but we don't mind kuz its better than $325/m |
