The Bonfire of the Vanities was a different movie than most of those in which I have seen Bruce. He plays a journalist who exposes a rich bond salesman, Tom Hanks, who was in the car with his mistress when she hit a black man and drove away. This is a story of how a journalist decided to tell the truth, and how a businessman proved his innocence. I have to admit, it is not quite as thrilling as a good action movie, but I give it credit for good characters and plot. I would recommend this to any Bruce or Tom fan, or anyone who enjoys movies about justice.
