					Bowling Green's Smirnoff Ice Fastpitch Tournament at Bowling Green Complex in Middleton, WI May 31 & June 1

			The Blackhawk Pride of Rockford, IL. went undefeated to win the Smirnoff Ice Tournament held at the Bowling Green Recreation Center in Middleton, WI. last weekend. Ray Reynolds allowed only 2 earned runs while picking up 4 wins to lead the Pride. They defeated 3 Star/Donkle Construction of Madison, WI 3-0 in the winners backet final, and then 6-2 in the championship game. Steve Gothard was the workhorse for 3 Star, recording all 4 of the wins. As usual, Terry Knight of Bowling Green ran another quality tournament. Teams always remark on how well run everything is and the great job done by the field crews.
