July 4 - 6
The 54th Annual Doug Bogue Tournament was held July 4-6 at Veterens Memorial
Park in Portage, WI. Evansville Bowl repeated as champs by defeating New
Image in the finals for the second year in a row. Last year Evansville came
out of the losers bracket to win it. This year New Image almost did the same
as they won the first championship game 5-1 in 10 innings behind the
pitching of Larry Liegel. J.T. Marshall knocked in the winning run for
Evansville in the bottom of the 8th of the final game. Stacy Hanson picked
up the win and homered for the Bowl. Steven's Construction of Madison took
3rd place.
