This site was produced to help answer questions about the vast array of Nvidia card choices. With about 50 different typed of GPUs, Nvidia had confused the market - but its a bit simpler for 2006. The information here is DETAILED, which is required to explain the differences between all these video card types. The NuFAQ (Nvidia Users FAQ) is designed to help explain these things in ENGLISH and in the details behind the technology.

• How does your current card (1 day old to 7years old) compare to other cards.
• What would make a good upgrade today or in the next few months.
• Which cards are the GOOD ones to get.
• Where to enhance your gaming or graphic experince.

Because there is SO many types of cards, I refer to older cards as "2004 & Older Info" section
which contains the OLD info as I last left it. Too much work to redo the whole site.

• Nvidia GeForce 7 Series is currently the state of the Art for Nivida, the GF 6 Series is being phased out with only a few low end cards available to chose from. At least there isn't 30 cards to choose from anymore.

For help with your Nividia product (troubleshooting), I highly recommend you go to the newsgroup :
Alt.Comp.Periphs.Videocards.Nvidia which is access with a news-reader program such as Agent or M$ Outlook Express. Contact your ISP for information about accessing this service.

This FAQ is not to be technically rich. There are links provided for such information. This FAQ is to help those who are new to 3D Computer Gaming who want to know information that experienced owners take for granted.

Parts of this FAQ are my opinion, I will choose the generally agreed view when these issues come up. Afterall, with all the thousands of PC configurations all over the world, sometimes the general answer is incorrect.
