According to Patricia Flournoy, advisory board chair, they pledged quota with 38 of the best, brightest, and most beautiful young women. We know you worked hard to accomplish this wonderful feat. BETA EPSILON BEAT - News From Last year
Greetings to our sisters of the North Harris Alumnae Chapter!
Five collegians and two advisors attended convention this June in Cincinnati. The chapter received a Recruitment Award and Three Stars Standards of Excellence Award and the advisory board received the Outstanding Advisory Board Award. Recruitment days are September 1-4 with Bid Day on the 5th. Whitney Bullard worked on a special Bid Day theme this year. We will have the Kappa Carnival with booths, carnival food, donations, and prizes being donated from alumnae.
Last spring, we volunteered our time at the nursing home for birthday parties, dance parties, and arts and crafts. We participated in Relay for Life to raise money for cancer, donated over 5,000 cans of food for the food drive and won the 2004 Greek Week.
