- WHERE WE CAME FROM
- The North Harris County Alumnae Chapter held its organizational meeting on October 26, 1989 with 11 Sigma Kappa sisters in attendance. We petitioned the National Council of Sigma Kappa for a charter, which was approved on December 22, 1989.
Our chapter has grown steadily over the years to its present size of 31 members.
Part of our charm is that we have members from over 17 different colleges spread out across the country. Our ages range from recent graduates to grandmothers.
Our interests and occupations are varied, but our bond brings us together in friendship and love for our sisterhood.
- WHAT WE DO NOW
- We meet monthly from September through May, at various times during the month.
We would love for you to join us at an upcoming
event.
Geographically, we roughly cover North Harris and South Montgomery Counties, north of Houston, Texas. But any Sigma Kappa alumna is more than welcome to join, even if you live in
another city, state, or even country!!!
