Skegness FMS formed in the summer of 2002 and have since made several short films and documentrys. These are:
Country life – a one minute slapstick comedy set in the country (dir Stephen Briggs)
What lurks? A scary inhabitant of a cottage – in Polare terms! (Dir Sheila Jackson)
Pancake Day – a local documentry (dir Stephen Briggs)
Bonfire night – doesnt need much explaining does it? (as above)
“up to your neck” our 1st short about 2 debt collectors (Stephen Briggs with Gainsborough House pupils)
Earpwald Dark Ruling – Our current project is in its 3rd and final year of shooting (dir Stephen Briggs)
“goodbye” documentry about a local music club (produced by SFMS)
Potters ghost – fun with Victorian theatre tricks to make ghost effects (dir Sue Whitmoore)
“demon monkey” - Kas Newtons debut film a cheesy slasher movie (dir Kas Newton)
We have worked with many local charities including East Lincs Arts, Coastal Regeneration, Church Farm Museum and Horncastle Theatre Company. We have provided a friendly and warm experiance for young children and adults with learning difficulties.
