next/ Fiexibility In Muay Thai
The bamboo is common image used in Thailand for flexibility and strenght ,it bends in the wind or under a weight, but never breaks.
For best flexibility I strongly believe that we must perform austere physical training with our bodies while our mind/spirit remains EVER A SEEKER.

Yijingjing:
1 Correct Movements
The movements are effective only when correctly executed.
We must perform movements in strict accordance with requirements.
2 Use of 'Internal Force'
Internal Force means slow but forceful movements.

2 Use of 'Internal Force'
Internal Force means slow but forceful movements.Internal Force regulating the relations between the force inside the varios muscles and that of individual muscles.Using Internal Force it will be possible to readjust the kinetic relations within the muscles.
When muscles function normally some parts are shortened while otheres are lengthened .While some are in a state of excitation/contraction ,others are in a state of restraint/relaxation.The muscular fibres that are in a state of excitation/conctraction become shortened ,while those in a state of restraint/relaxation are lengthened accordingly.Nerve endings of the muscles are called motor nerve endings ,each controls 100 to 300 muscular fibres .
With a change in movement ,these two types of motor units change too.

3 Systematic Progress
One should start with easy and simple exercises so as to get acclimatized,so to say.The amount of exercise can be increased when the function of the body has reached a carresponding leeveeel. It takes some times before a further increase.
So there is the question of adaptability whenever the amount of training is increased .
WARNING
Impatience and recklessness will cause injuries and will be detrimental to one,s health.

4 Coordination with Breathing
To achieve better results attention must be paid to breathing.
   A. One must breathe as naturally as possible and never hold the breath.
B.Inhale when stretching or spreading the limbs ,because the chest is fully expanded and the lung has much room for deep breathing. This is because breathing when aided by the movements helps one apply force to a certain extent.

5 Feeling of 'AIR'
This means that the muscles at work should have the feeling of pain, heat and comfort.

6 Range of Movements
The bigger the extent of activity of the joints ,the bigger the movements ,and vice versa. The function of the muscles corresponds to the extent of activity of the joints. The degree of pain felt in the muscles coresponds with the range of the movements.Pain is a tool. One cannot achieve the expected results without feeling of pain.Pain is a signal to go back/slow/stop/rest.
WARNING
Recklessness/impatience will cause injuries and will be detrimental to one,s health.

Now that's better. So my question would be can everyone, with proper training, so the splits, or something like that, or are some just not built that way?

nicu_capusneac writes:
YES,YES with proper training everyone(99%,1%medical problems;)can do side split and front split.

nicu_capusneac writes:
7 Perseverance
Habits formed in everyday life have an impact on the function of the central nerve system.Perseverance is of the UTMOST IMPORTANCE.It is normal a physiological phenomenon to have pains when one start practising flexibility ,but as long as he keeps at it ,the pain will gradually disappear. To stop practising of course mean forfeiting altogether what has already been achieved.
