But Tragedy never stays away for long... | ||||
so, after the poor little princess was left by her first true love prince David, she left the country, hoping to start a new life away from all the pain and anguish love and trust had caused her heart and soul. after months of heartache and permanent tears at night, finally she found herself liking another young handsome chap. he was the kings finest knight and seemed to be the perfect gentleman. everytime the princess saw him her heart jumped and a smile appeared on her face. for the first time in a long time she felt that she could forget about the pain and betrayal and be happy. it took a while for her and the knight to realize that they both were in love with oneanother. for the princess this was the best time in her life. sometimes tho her heart doubted the love of the young knight. she pushed the doubts aside, seeing as love is truly blind. they went on holiday together, to the cold and ancient country where she had her heart broken once before. she never enjoyed herself more than when she was away with a knight to call her own. but when they returned to the sweet homeland, things changed. he started to make up excuses to not have to see her and didnt send her a telegraph at least once every two days. the princess began to feel hurt. just when she had begun to trust the knight he was trying his best to completely destroy her new found joy. he didnt realize he was doing anything wrong, seeing as he never spoke to her, and when they did speak occasionally, either they would have an argument or he didnt notice if she was not feeling well. things kept getting worse and worse. until now. both of them were stuck. complete stalemate. the little princess was confused and hurt. of course the knight must know what he was doing to her. but why was he doing it? she couldn't imagine what she had ever done wrong. time and time again she went over the times they had spent together but could never find the answer. she tried to speak to him, but he never wanted to speak to her. she went to see him at his home, a lovely mansion on the hill. when she arrived his fellow knights were there, and he said he had no time for her. the princess felt bad. later on that night, she called on her fairymaiden friend. she sounded like she was hiding something. and indeed she was. the knight had informed her that he wasnt sure if he still liked the princess. when the princess heard of this, she felt she had to be strong. of course she could feel her insides shattering and her mind racing but she kept it all in. until the lady of the house ,her fairymaiden's mother began to ask questions about the knight. the princess tried to smile and stand up strong but she failed. she ran up the stairs to her friend's chambers and broke down on her knees to cry. this wasnt supposed to happen. it was wrong. she swore herself to not cry for a boy ever again, but it hurt her to think that the knight, who she had trusted and opened her heart to was now leaving her. she couldnt stand to be alone and heartbroken again. so she decided that before she would let another man break her heart, she would break it herself. |
