| Every good anime has to have at least one person with a split personality. Miss Une fills this role in Gundam Wing. Known as either Lady Une or Colonel Une, depending on what side of the bed she got up on that morning, the woman has some serious mood swings when it comes to dealing with the colonies. Example? How about the infamous Epsiode 10, when as Colonel Une she readied a group of nuclear-missile satellites and held the colonies hostage. This was after she told Heero and the other Gundam pilots that if they didn't surrender she'd nuke every Colony Cluster from here to Mars. Her plan failed thanks to Heero and the cunning of Dr. J. And yet, just a few epsiodes later, Colonel Une has transformed into the delightful, beautiful and peac-loving Lady Une. Sent to the as an ambassador to the colonies, all the gentle-natured Lady Une can think about is uniting the colonies and making sure everyone lives in peace. |
