Lip Balm You Need: -5 tbsp of almond oil, apricot kernel oil, jojoba oil, olive oil or any good quality vegetable oil (one of the above not all!) -2 vitamin E capsules -1 and 1/2 tbsp of shaved beeswax or beeswax beads -1 tbsp of honey -1 teaspon of coconut oil (Optional - you can get this from Superdrug for 99p!) -10 drops of an essential oil (try to get natural rather than synthetic oils) Warm the almond oil or ect.. in a very low heat (I use a oil burner , but u can use a double boiler). Puncture the vitamin E capsules, and squirt the contents in to the oil. Add the coconut oil beeswax and melt (this may take time). Stir with a spoon. Remove from heat and stir in the honey. Stir occasionally as the mixture cools. Add the essential oil before the wax cools and sets up. Stir well and pour in to containers of your choice! The best containers to use are blue/brown glass containers, you can get these from place like Culpeper for about £1. You can also change the amounts in the mixture to make more or less, thicker or thiner!
Aunty Faithy's Muscle Oil Ever done PE and felt so stiff you couldn't even lift your arm to put your shirt on? Got a bad back? Gonna miss out on some sporting fun 'cos your leg hurts? Well don't worry, just make this! Put 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil in a cup and add 2-3 drops of eucalptus oil in. Rub this into your muscles for a few days (it smells quite gross but it really works wonders) and you should find an improvement.

(be very carefull with this) 2) Crack the eggs into a big bowl and put the flour, sugar and cocoa powder in with it. 3) Put the melted butter in 4) Mix with a whisk for a few minutes 5) Cook for 25-35 minutes at a temperature of 180/200 degrees. 6) When it's cooked it should be a bit gooey and soggy in the middle, that's what makes it taste so nice!!!!!! |
How to make teas from herbs First of all pick whichever part of the herb you need to use (like leaves, root, etc), you will need 1 spoonfull of dried herbs or 2 spoons for fresh ones. Put them in a teapot/mug, pour in boiling water (not too full) and cover it, leave to infuse for 5-15 minutes, depending on how strong you want it! Pour into a new mug through a tea strainer. Now you can add honey to make it sweet or a bit of lemon juice or whatever you want to change the flavour! (Most herb teas end up a greeney colour, don't let this put you off, they are lovely with some honey!)

Sea Salt Body Scrub Add a tablespoon of sea salt, a tablespoon of table salt and enough olive oil to just cover the mixture (stir it in, put more in if you have dry skin, less if you have oily skin). You could use any kind of vegetable oil for this, sweet almond oil is very good for dry skin. Then add in a few drops of your favourite essential oil. You could also add in some ground almond and witchazel, just add in anything which you like really! To use: Rub against parts of you which need exfoliating then rinse off. If you find it's too corse put more almond and tablesalt in next time and less sea salt.
