A VIEW FROM THE CITY: SHANGHAI
The entrance to the Yu Garden.  With a backdrop of modern Shanghai.  There is a dragon-like creature protecting the entrance.  Because It wasn't for royalty or religion, they couldn't use a dragon or lion.
Daybreak in Shanghai.  The two figures in the lower left-hand corner (they're in white shirts... I know it's hard to see.) are practicing their sword skills.

There are many things to do and places to see in Shanghai.  Some of the places are in Pudong (the side of the river where I live) and some are in Puxi (the "Old Town"). I visited Century Park with Junie and her daughter Apple.  We also flew kites in a courtyard.  I visited Shanghai Traditional Village one cold December afternoon when I had a few hours to spare.
