PART 12

Kyo sat on the floor in front of Nao. Leaning his head back against the couch he looked up at the worried face above him. “What’s up?”

Nao shrugged. “I was just thinking…”

Kyo waited and when he still didn’t talk after a few minutes and looked vacent Kyo crawled up onto his lap. “Well, if you’re done thinking…” He rubbed his front against the other suggestively.

“Kyo, do you think I should go to visit Hakuei?”

Kyo scrunched his face and stopped moving. “What? Why?” He was ready to go and Nao was thinking about Hakuei!

Nao pushed Kyo off his lap and stood up pacing around the room. “Think about it! Hakuei is Yuki’s former lover, the guy that he used to beat the shit out daily! And you said that the problem was with Yuki, so-”

“But he was your lover too!” Kyo spat out with jealousy. He picked the sketch Nao had once done of Yuki when they had been together. Yuki had been sprawled out on Nao’s bed with his hands suggestively touching  himself, totally naked. In the drawing he still had very long, curly hair that had once drove his master, and Nao, wild.  Kyo growled and threw the sketch pad across the room.

                Nao flinched. “Kyo…”

“Why do you care so much about those damn people? Especially that rich guy! He used to be exactly like Yuki is now!” Kyo flopped down at the couch and stared blankly into the corner of the room pouting.

Nao sat down beside him and tried to touch his hair, only to get his hand slapped away. “Kyo… Hakuei is different now. He’s in love… and so is Kozi and Taizo. We can’t let someone go and ruin it if we can stop it in some way!”

Kyo sat in the corner of the couch, still pouting but had a defeated look in his eyes. Nao slid over to him and held him tightly around the waist before he could pull away, resting his head on the back of his thin shoulder in front of his face.

Kyo sighed. “You are impossible, Nao.”

I must get rid of both of them. Then find that bastard Nao and get rid of him. Yuki thought to himself as he stared at Kaoru from across the dining table. The group of five men sat around the table, all in silent shock. Kaoru and Kozi sat next to each other, sneaking each other nervous glances at seeing their former master in the house.

Hakuei swollowed his food, but it tasted bitter as he watched his former lover nervously. He cleared his throat to break the silence. “Why have you come to visit, Yuki?”

Yuki looked at him and smiled bitterly. “I heard you have company, and come to… meet them. We don’t meet each other anymore.” Yuki’s hand moved to cover Hakuei’s thinner one.

Hakuei pulled his hand away slowly and slipped it beneath the table. Out of the view of others Hakuei grabbed his hand and squeezed the fingers nervously. Hakuei gave him a quizzical look and only smiled. When he looked back to Yuki he cleared his throat and said quietly. “I would like to speak to you alone… now.”

Taizo and Kaoru pressed up against the door to the study, listening intently.

“Maybe we should give them privacy…” Kozi said quietly, though he pressed up behind his brother. He looked at the hair in front of him and wanted to cry. He hadn’t seen that hair in years… and now they were together again. He hugged his brother from behind and listened.

Hakuei stayed seated behind his desk, holding onto a envelope cutter in his hand tightly, but trying to make it look casual. “Why did you really come?”

Yuki sat down on the opposite side of the desk. “It’s strange, usually I would sit on that side and you would cower on this side, waiting for an order. Or… I’d simply call you over to my side and-”

“Shut up!” Hakuei suddenly screamed as he stood, his hands splayed on the surface of the desk. “What do you want!? Did you forget some more hidden money in the house? Or did you just come because you need someone to fight with?”

“I came to collect something that belongs to me.” Yuki said, his jaw was clenched at watching his former lover talking back to him. None of his lovers, or master’s for that matter, could ever win a fight with him, except Hakuei. Yuki hated him for that, hated him so much that Hakuei had been the only one he had ever beaten. He figured that  he could string him out a bit and make him behave; it hadn’t worked.

Hakuei eyed him bitterly. “I have nothing that belongs to you; you took everything when you left before.”

“You have two things that are mine actually.” He continued as Hakuei had never spoken. “You have Kozi and Kaoru; they are my slaves.”

Yuki felt his brother shaking in front of him as he held onto him. His shoulders shook harshly. “Kaoru?” Kozi tried to turn him but he jerked away and stood a few feet from the door. Taizo bit his lip and took Kozi’s hand. They were all so worried about the deafening silence coming from the office they didn’t realize the door had opened until a shallow breath could be heard next to Kozi.

Kaoru turned sheepishly to look at his lover. At the look on Hakuei’s face he quickly looked away.

“You were Yuki’s slave? Yuki’s slave?”

Kaoru bit his lip and nodded.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” He sounded desperate.

“I… I didn’t even know you knew him…” Kaoru rung his hands together.

Yuki smirked and walked up behind Hakeui, setting his hand on the stone hard shoulder. “You know,  Hakuei, he was delicious.” He smirked. Hakuei visibly stiffened.

Kaoru’s lip trembled and with a sob he ran off.
