CREATING THE  TAG

Step 1

Open up your tag template frame and full image. Make the tag template frame active and go to Adjust/Hue and Saturation/Colorize and move the controls until you achieve a color for your frame that works well with your full image.

Step 2

Left click the magic wand using the settings from above.  Left click the magic wand on the circular frame to select it.

Go to Effects/Plugins/VM Extravaganza/Transmission and use these settings:

Line Width 60, Offset 0, Contrast 40.

Do not deselect.

Step 3

Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and use these settings:

Go to Selections/Select None.

Step 4

Go to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and use the settings from above.

Step 5

Open up the full size image. If your full sized graphic is too small to fully fit inside the template, we will need to resize it up.  To do that, go to Image/Resize, using the percent option at a percentage over 100%, bicubic and resize all layers checked.  This will enlarge your image but keep it proportional.

Go to Edit/Copy.

Step 6

Make the frame template active and with the magic wand, left click inside the circular frame.  Go to Selections/Modify/Expand 7.

Go to Edit/Paste as New Layer.

Step 8

Left click the mover tool and place the full size image within the selection.  Go to Selections/Invert, hit the delete key and go to Selections/Select None.

Go to Layers/Arrange/Move Down. You want your full size image layer underneath the frame layer.

Step 9

Open up your layer palette and make sure you are back on the top layer.

Open up the Rainbow Coffi ribbons and apply to the tag template. To resize the ribbon, go to Image/Resize using the percent option below 100%, bicubic and resize all layers NOT checked. If you do not have a suitable color, colorize the ribbon the same way you colorized the frame template.

Step 10

Open up the gradient flower graphic.  Colorize to a suitable color for your tag and resize as in Step 9.

Step 11

Add any other optional elements, if you wish.

Step 12

Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and apply your copyright information.

Step 13

Go to Image/Resize using the percent option below 100%, bicubic and resize all layers checked.  Save this file as a psp or psd file so that all your layers are intact in case you wish to make changes to them.

Step 14

Lastly add your text, go to Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten) and save as a jpg.  By doing it this way, you can make many tags for friends and group members.

We hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
