Supplies Jasc/Corel's Paint Shop Pro any version. Tube of Choice. For this type of tag - I would think something angelic would work well. The lovely image I am using was created by Jim Francis. Please do visit his wonderful online gallery by clicking here. Accessories - Animated circular inner light created by me and candle animation created by others. Please remember, when creating your signature tags, to only use permission art and to apply the copyright information on the tag. If you have purchased a commercial image, do add your license number as well. **When creating your Signature tags with Paint Shop Pro, do remember to save continually. Nothing worse than to use up your memory resources and lose everything!** SETTING USED IN THIS TUTORIAL Drop Shadow Setting: Vertical Offset 2, Horizontal Offset 2, Opacity 80 Blur 5, Color Black Vertical Offset 2, Horizontal Offset 2, Opacity 80 Blur 5, Color White
CREATING THE TAG Step 1 Open up a new transparent image 600 width by 400 height and open up the tube image you will be. In the top color box, select a deep prominent color that will work well with your image and flood fill the transparency with that color. Step 2 Go to Effects/Illumination Effects/Sunburst and use these settings:
Step 3 Go to Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Go to Image/Add Borders and when the border selection window opens up, for border color select black, symmetric checked and border width 3. Step 4 Make your tube image active and go to Edit/Copy. Make the tag image active and go to Edit/Paste as New Layer. If the image is too large, go to Image/Resize using the percent option, bicubic and resize all layers NOT checked. Step 5 (Optional) Go to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and use the settings from above. Step 6 Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and apply your text. Step 7 (Optional) Apply a drop shadow to your text either using the settings from above or your own. For this tag, I applied the white drop shadow to give it a more angelic effect. Step 8 Add the copyright information to the tag and save this tag as a psp or psd file. We will finish the tag in animation shop adding the candles and inner light. Click here to continue.
