Step 1

Open up the Daisy frame template, the Flower Blooms jpg image and your tube of choice.  Make the daisy frame template active. Left click the Shift and D keys to duplicate the template.  Close the original template and let's work with the duplicate.

Step 2

Make the Daisy frame template active.  Go to Layers/New Raster Layer.  Flood fill this new layer with white.  Go to Layers/Arrange/Send to bottom so that the white layer is beneath the daisy frame template.

Step 3

Make the Flower blooms jpg image active. Left click the dropper tool and select one of the vibrant colors from this image and left click the dropper tool once more so that this color now appears in the top color box of the Material Palette.  Left click this color at the material palette and when the color selection window opens, write down the hue and saturation amounts.

Step 4

Make the daisy frame template active. Go to Adjust/Hue and Saturation/Colorize and type in the hue and saturation amounts from Step 3 and click ok.  Your daisy frame template should now be colorized.

Step 5

Left click the magic wand and use the settings from above.  Left click the magic wand inside the transparent center portion of the Daisy frame template.  Go to Selections/Modify/Expand/5.

Do NOT Deselect.

Step 6

Go to Layers/New Raster Layer. Make the Flower Blooms jpg image active and go to Edit/Copy.  Make the daisy frame template active and go to Edit/Paste into Selection.

Go to Selections/Select None.

Go to Layers/Arrange/Move Down.

Step 7

Open up the layer palette and go to the flower blooms layer.  Move the opacity setting over to the left to 38%.

Step 8

Open a new transparent image 215 width by 215 height.  Open up the daisy4 tube image. Make the daisy4 tube image active and go Image/Resize using the percent option at 60%, Smart Size, and resize all layers checked.

Step 9

Go to one of the daisy4 layers and make it active.  Go to Edit/Copy.  Make the new 215 x 215 transparent image active and go to Edit/Paste as New Layer.

Step 10

Repeat Step 9 two more times - selecting a different color daisy each time.  Once you have three daisies copied to the 215 x 215 transparent image, arrange them like this, and go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.

Step 11

Make the 3 daisy 215 x 215 image active and go to Edit/Copy.  Make the Daisy frame active and go to Edit/Paste as New Layer.  If these three flowers are not pasted on the top layer of the daisy frame template, go to Layers/Arrange/Move to Top. Left click the mover tool and move the 3 daisy image to the left top corner of the frame.  (See my tag)

Step 12

Go to Layers/Duplicate/Image/Mirror.  You will now have the 3 daisies at the right top corner.

Step 13

Go to Layers/Duplicate and move the daisies to the bottom right corner.

Step 14

Go to Layers/Duplicate/Image/Mirror and move the 3 daisies to the bottom left corner.

Step 15

Copy and paste your tube graphic image to the tag and resize if necessary.  When resizing, go to Image/Resize, using the percent option, bicubic, and resize all layers NOT checked.

Step 16

Add any additional elements, scraps, etc. to make your tag unique.

Step 17

Add your copyright information and go to Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Save your tag as a template without the text.

Step 18

When adding text, apply a favorite drop shadow (as the one I used above) and resave with a new name.  This way you will still have your template intact to reuse again so that you can make multiple tags for friends and group members.

We hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
