Supplies Jasc/Corel's Paint Shop Pro any version VM Extravaganza - Transmission Filter Penta.com - Dot and Cross Filter Two Moon - Quilt Filter Eye Candy 3.03 or any Series - Glow Filter Tube of Choice: The tube image I am using is a commercially licensed image created by Joel Adams. You can purchase Joel Adams delightful art work in both tube and image form through CILM. CILM stands for Creative Image Licensing and Management and it is through CILM that you can purchase not only Joel Adam's wonderful images in full or tube form but the work of many other outstanding artists as well. Please remember, when creating your signature tags, to only use permission art and to apply the copyright information on the tag which would include both the artist's name and online gallery link. Font of choice.
SETTING USED IN THIS TUTORIAL Magic Wand Settings used in this tutorial are: Mode: Add/Shift, Match Mode: RGB Value, Tolerance 30, Contiguous checked, Feather: 0, Anti-Alias checked and outside selected. Drop Shadow: Vertical Offset 2, Horizontal Offset 2, Opacity 80, Blur 5, Color Black Step 1 Open a new transparent image 600 width by 400 height. Left click the top color box at the Material Palette and select a deep color that coordinates with your graphic. Left click the bottom color box and select a lighter variation of the same color family in the top color box. Left click the top color box and when the color selection window opens click the gradient tab and select, linear style, foreground-background with angle and repeats set to 0. Flood fill the transparency with this linear foreground-background gradient. Step 2 Go to Image Resize using the percent option at 90%, bicubic and resize all layers NOT checked. Step 3 Go to Effects/Plugins/VM Extravaganza/Transmission and use these settings: Line Width 183, Offset 0, Contrast 40 Step 4 Left click the magic wand using the settings from above. Left click the top section of the graphic. Go to Effects/Plugins/Two Moon/Quilt and use these settings: Add Some Take Some 13 Take Some Away, Add 95 Go to Selections/Select None. Step 5 With the magic wand, left click the bottom section of the graphic. Go to Effects/Plugins/Two Moon/Quilt and use the same settings as Step 4. Go to Selections/Select None. Step 6 Left click the magic wand on the middle section of the tag. Go to Effects/Plugins/Penta.Com/Dot and Cross and use these settings: Dot and Cross Amount 72, Cross Distance 10, Cross Width 2 Go to Selections/Select None. Step 7 Go to Effects/Plugins/Eye Candy 3.03 (or any 3 series)/Glow. Go to the Drop Down Menu and select Outline. Where you see width - change it to 8. Where you see color - you can change the white to any color you wish by left clicking the color box and selecting your color of choice. Step 8 Make your tube graphic active and go to Edit/Copy. Make your tag image active and go to Edit/Paste as New Layer. Step 9 If your image is too large, resize your image as you did in Step 2. Left click the mover tool and move the image to where you would like it on the tag. Step 10 Go to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and use the drop shadow settings as you see above. Step 11 Add your text - applying the same drop shadow, add your license information and save your tag as a jpg.
